Hello I am Regina Butler the reigning Miss Black United States Universe 2013. I plan on having a great success in this organization and appreciate everything i have gained from it so far. I was born to Andrea and Walter Butler the Third. Currently I'm taking classes at Elizabeth City State University Majoring in Political Science with the hopes of going to Harvard Law School. I'm not your typical Beauty Queen i have had ups and downs in my life like anyone else I'm not perfect; but i have learned through pageantry that no matter what happens you are always a winner for giving back. I have been competing since the age of 15 and although i have yet to win a competition i have learned that its not all about winning. Its about sharing a sisterhood with women from all walks of life and carrying out Gods work I plan to continue to do that throughout my life regardless if there is a crown on my head or not. This blog is to keep friends, family,and fans posted on my appearances and events. Most of all it will also help promote my Platform which is C.O.A ( Childhood Obesity in America.)
